1-800-GET-PIZZA is available for use by YOUR favorite pizza parlor!
Using an exciting new feature from the phone company called exchange routing, 1-800-GET-PIZZA (800-438-7499) can be used simultaneously by every neighborhood in the country. For example, a pizza customer in Your Town, USA can call 1-800-GET-PIZZA and be connected to the pizzeria in Your Town. At the same time, someone in Next Town, USA can call 1-800-GET-PIZZA and be connected to the pizzeria in Next Town. This is possible because the phone company (AT&T and others) can determine the caller location using the area code and exchange (the first 3 digits of their phone number), and then route the call to the local pizzeria that has signed up with 1-800-GET-PIZZA (tm) Number Leasing.
If you add a "distinctive ring" to your phone, you can tell if an incomeing call is coming over 1-800-GET-PIZZA. "Distinctive ring" is available from your local phone company for about 5 dollars per month.
Territories for 1-800-GET-PIZZA can vary, with a rule of thumb being an area that includes approximately your 10 nearest pizza competitors.
Rates for using 1-800-1-800-GET-PIZZA are 10 cents/minute, a 100 dollar setup fee, and an annual fixed fee, which is determined as follows: since 1-800-GET-PIZZA Number Leasing has no idea how much the number 1-800-GET-PIZZA is worth in any particular neighborhood, the annual fixed fee will be open to bidding by pizzerias and resaurants in the particular neighborhood where there is interest in leasing the number. Minimum bids are based on the population of the area/place-name the pizzeria is located, as per the following table:

Greater than neighborhood-size territories can be arranged and priced on a case by case basis. For efficiency, billing must be done through Automatic Clearing House processing.
Plans are to include a large bumper sticker similar to the graphic below, as well as a larger quantity of small stickers for pasting on pizza boxes to immediately start reaping the benefits of 1-800-GET-PIZZA. |
